I have a lot of catching up to do. So much so, in fact, I shouldn't even waste time placing excuses for my absence from Cable kid history writing, but... I will anyway.
Busy. Work. Two kids in school. Grad school. Traveling for Pearson. Tired. Just trying to keep clean clothes in the closet and food in the fridge. (did I just inadvertantly go from general to specific?) lol
All it takes is a moment to sit and re-read some of the history of these two little kiddos and in no time, I am reminded that no excuse is a good enough excuse for not keeping up.
Do I start with Cub Scouts, Leila's school debacle, the 8 viruses that have plagued us, the passing of Grandma Jeanne, or... something simple, like giggling kids on Ipads?
Overnight we have morphed out of anything remotely toddler anywhere and into true kid status all the time.
Friday nights were Sprite and Doritoes nights spent watching each new episode of Gold Rush (crazy life we lead, I know!)
Monday nights have been 'how fast can you make and eat dinner' so Cub Scouts can take place.
And for about five months, every night has been 101 Dalmations reading. Leila has the whole thing memorized. You can't even trick her with synonyms.
So, let me gather my thoughts, work on some brainstorms, and get clicking away. My kids won't let me live it down if I fall of their milestones.
