Today is Gage's 100th day of school and they were asked to do a '100 project' at home so they could all be showed off in a showcase of sorts. We had two days to figure it out and accomplish it.
Luckily for me, he didn't settle on the 'make a town and put 100 vehicles in it' idea. And luckily for him, his dad's ideas weren't at the top of the list either. Bill Nye Austin thought he could take 100 mililiters of water in a beaker or water bottle. Then, the ever-boring idea of making a paper clip necklace was denied, too.
We brainstormed awhile more until I realized Santa had saved the day and didn't even know it-- a 100-piece glow-in-the-dark Dinosaur puzzle. Gage was all over it! He was very proud of his work and we let the puzzle 'charge up' all day yesterday so he can show off the glow in the dark factor.
Hopefully he comes home as proud as he was when he left this morning.
